Birth Doula

Free initial consultation (usually 45min)
A meet up shortly after hire to connect and make sure you have everything you need
2 in-person prenatal visits between 32 and 38 weeks where we cover all aspects of birth, and can discuss your concerns, wishes during labour and birth, pain relief/comfort techniques, and how I can best support you and your partner
monthly phone check-ins, if you desire
Postpartum planning and breastfeeding. I am a Lactation Consultant in training with hundreds of hours of education so far, and I am passionate about helping families navigate the world of feeding their baby!

During Your Birth

Support provided immediately after birth for the first few hours postpartum by helping to initiate feeding, preparing you food and cleaning your space (home or hospital)

A postpartum visit within a week after your baby is born. These visits are usually around 2 hours and can be used however best suits your needs.
*note: as I am actively pursuing a career as a lactation consultant alongside my work as as doula, I prioritize any feeding support that is needed as best as I can with the knowledge that I have.

limited postpartum availability - please inquire. Investment is $45/hr plus gst for daytime hours (4h minimim), and $50/hr plus gst for overnight (8h minimum)
What’s included in my postpartum support:
professional photos of your labour, birth, and immediately postpartum. Some examples of birth photos might include: labouring at home, labouring in hospital, delivery, newborn exam, first feeds, introduction to siblings/other family members, first skin to skin, etc. This offering includes 75-100+ digital images. I capture photos entirely on film (analog photos!) to make it the most real, raw, and tender way to document your birth that I possibly can. (for more details on photography services, click here)
